How do I invest my contributions?

It’s up to you how you choose to invest your Member Account.

To help you make a decision on the best investments for you, the Trustees have prepared an investment guide which describes the range of funds available to you and the different ways you can invest your Member Account and any additional voluntary contributions (AVCs) that you have paid.

The investment guide may be updated from time to time and we’ll let you know if it changes. It is for information only and it is not intended to offer any kind of financial advice.

You can find out where your funds are currently invested, and make changes to your investment choices, by logging into your Hartlink Online account by clicking the ‘Log in’ button at the top of the screen.

Reviewing your investments as you approach retirement

You should review your investments regularly to make sure they still match your plans. Plans tend to change as you get older, so the investments you chose in the past may not necessarily be the right ones for you as you get older or your priorities change.

We recommend that you speak to an independent financial adviser (IFA) if you need any advice about your investments. You can find an IFA in your area by visiting www.unbiased.co.uk. Please be aware that an IFA may charge for any services they provide, and FDR do not cover the cost of such services. You can also find support to help you with financial decisions by visiting our managed retirement service or through our countdown to retirement page.
